Message from the President

Greetings Chapter 74,

It is hard to believe we are well into December and a few short weeks shy of Christmas and the New Year! I want to thank Lori Bible for putting together an excellent Holiday Party last week. Additionally, the Young Professionals Committee came together to provide a well organized effort in raising over $1,000 for Blue Santa. Our members contributed over 80 toys at the event; all which will provide a wonderful holiday experience to our communi-ty. Our Nominations Committee also announced our Professional of the Year, Young Professional of the Year and Employer of the Year at the party. Congratulations to our exceptional winners; Profes-sional of the Year Liz Norris of Atkins; Young Professional of the Year Jaylia Travis of OR Colan; and Employer of the Year Atkins, a Member of the SNC Lavalin Group. Thank you to those who contributed nominations this year. Our members are all worthy of consideration and we encourage your nomination participation.

Our next luncheon is planned for January 8th at Maggiano’s. I hope to see you there. The Programs Committee is currently working on finding speakers for the upcoming year, if you should have any suggestions, please email our Programs Committee.
